Deeyah Khan at the 9/11 Memorial Museum

Deeyah Khan has won two Emmy awards for her documentary films. She has spent years exploring how people are drawn into extremist ideologies through filming with Islamist extremists, convicted terrorists, former jihadis, and current and former neo-Nazis. Deeyah Khan’s film wins the Jury Prize at The Bellingham Human Rights Film Festival

White Right: Meeting the Enemy won the Jury Award for “excellence in documenting a human rights issue” at the Bellingham Human Rights Film Festival in the USA.
