WOW – Women of the World is a globally recognised festival celebrating women and girls, which celebrates the power and potential of girls and women and confronts the causes of inequality.

As part of this year’s line-up in London, sister-hood, Deeyah Khan’s award-winning digital magazine spotlighting the diverse voices of women of Muslim heritage will bring together fearless, progressive and creative women to discuss 'honour' and 'shame' and how these concepts are used to control women.

Award-winning filmmaker, Deeyah Khan, anti-FGM activist Leyla Hussein, co-founder and executive director of ICAN Sanam Naraghi Anderlini and campaigner and public speaker, Masarat Daud will be speaking at the panel on March 10^th .
